Unpaid Debt Drives Mr. Kong to Murder; Beats Man to Death with Baseball Bat in Phuket

From the looks of him, my bet’s on yaba.

Takes some balls or yaba fueled courage to pull that off.

When: November 30th, 2020

Where: Talat Yai subdistrict, Mueang Phuket district, Phuket province

Perpetrators: Mr. Kong, 37

Victims: Mr. Chokchai, 26

What: Facebook netizens called on the community in Phuket to joint together and identify the man who beat Mr. Chokchai to death with a baseball bat. The grisly crime was carried out by Mr. Kong, who was owed an unpaid debt by the deceased. Mr. Kong and a friend hunted down Mr. Chokchai to get the money owed. Instead, they had a little chat then beat him with a bat, leaving him on the roadside for dead. Mr. Kong is currenly in police custody. His friend is still on the loose.

My take: One of two things happened here. Mr. Kong was on a yaba bender, or he was owed a lot of money. Enough to drive him to brutally pummel a man in broad daylight with a baseball bat. I’ll just say this: yabba-dabba-don’t.
