Unnamed Man Found Dead on Rice Field Stuffed in Hemp Sack, Hands and Feet Bound with Rope

The victim had no identification on him.

The grisly discovery.

When: December 20th, 2020

Where: Pak Nam Pho subdistrict, Nakhon Sawan province

Perpetrators: Unknown killer

Victims: Unknown victim

What: Police in Nakhon Sawan were called to a farmer’s rice field after an unnamed victim was found dead, his body stuffed in a hemp sack with hands and feet bound in rope.

The owner of the field, Mr. Sommai Thongthae, brought police to the body. Investigators estimate the age of the victim as being between 40-45 years. His face was badly bruised and a white cloth was tied around his neck. His hands were tied behind his back and rope tied around both ankles.

The body had no identification on it, his personal effects only being a lighter and a few baht. Investigators suspect he died from suffocation and was kept there for at least 7 hours before they arrived. An autopsy will be performed to further the investigation.

My take: Someone knows something – and I don’t mean the killer. There’s a lot of dead weight in the body of a deceased middle age man, pun intended. The killer or killers could have done the deed on the rice field, but it’d take a lot of planning to pull it off there and have rope handy to tidy things up. My guess is they lugged him in. We’ll update readers if more details are reported.
