He was originally arrested in 2016 but escaped from the police station.
When: January 12th, 2021
Where: Lak Si district, Bangkok
Perpetrators: Mr. Sitthawee Thawornchote, 56
Victim: 3 year old girl
What: On January 12th, 2021, police arrested Mr. Sitthawee Thawornchote, 56, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Thonbrui criminal court in 2017 on charges of sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13.
According to the report, Mr. Sitthawee lived with relates at the Government Welfare Building in the Bang Khun Thian district of Bangkok. He committed the sexual assault on the 3 year old girl at that time. The parents became aware of the matter and brought the complaint to police. Officers detained him at that time back in 2016, but Mr. Sitthawee was able to escape. He’s been hiding out in the Lak Si district of Bangkok ever since.
Mr. Sitthawee denies any wrongdoing and insists it’s all a misunderstanding. He claimed that there’s no way he could have done this because on the day it happened, he was asleep in his home.
Authorities brought him to the Bang Khun Thian police station and legal proceedings will follow.

My take: Again, there’s nothing pleasant about writing a report like this. I only hope for the best for the young girl after this sick bastard’s actions.
