Iranian Wanted by Interpol, Mr. Amir Fallahi Serish, Arrested in Nan Province

Unfortunately, the report doesn’t say why he was wanted.

On February 16th, 2021, police and immigration officials in Nan province announced that they had jointly arrested Mr. Amir Fallahi Serish, 41 years of age, an Iranian national wanted by Interpol. He will be extradited to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The arrest was made on February 15th in the Chaisathan subdistrict of Nan province. The Thai immigration Biometrics system helped officials identify Mr. Serish.

Unfortunately, the report does not indicate what crimes he was wanted for, only that the warrant was issued by Interpol.

My take: I did as much searching as I could on this case, but couldn’t find anything else to indicate what this guy was wanted for — maybe it will be revealed in other reports down the line. I’ll keep you posted.
