Home of Life Coach “Kru Sita” Raided; Arrest Warrant Details 4 Charges

The life coach parroted “law of attraction” type non-sense.

Where: Bang Phli Yai subdstirct, Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan province

Perpetrators: Ms. Patchsita Saksirithanakun, alias Kru Sita

Victims: Defrauded believers

What: Police from the Crimes Suppression Division identified Ms. Patchsita, alias Kru Sita, a famous life coach as the perpetrator in a counterfeit money, fraud, and computer crime scheme.

An unidentified victim in the scheme brought evidence to authorities that she had a counterfeit note, which was acquired from Kru Sita. The life coach exploited her followers belief in the “law of attraction” and that the “power of the universe can eradicate suffering and give riches.”

Victims believed that if they subscribed to her program and bought a lot of products that they would attract this wealth. Instead, they were sent counterfeit Thai bank notes and fake gold.

My take: It’s no great surprise to me that the same bullshit schemes that parrot the “law of attraction” lines are found here in Thailand same as back home.

There’s a whole slew of these sorts of “life coaches” in Thailand that exploit people’s belief in luck and their own bleak circumstances by giving them hope through magical thinking.

We think it’s one of the more heinous crimes. Not because it’s gruesome, but because it takes advantage of people’s weaknesses.
