Victims: Ms. Saifon Chalawong, 39
What: In a knife attack that echoes the bloody killing spree of Madman Jack from last week, Udon Thani sees another stabbing on the streets. This time the victim was Ms. Saifon Chalawong, 39, a Grab food delivery driver.
The perpetrator was a man with a navy blue t-shirt, long white pants, driving a Hondy Scoopy. He stabbed the Grab food driver in the right shoulder. Police are on alert and ready to deal with these copycat crimes.

My take: Sadly, this kind of thing is predictable. Whenever there’s a crime with notoriety, there will be those weak and sad individuals who look at it as their opportunity to seize their 15 minutes of fame. Usually, they can’t go all the way, and their actions are a pale shadow of the original. Let’s hope the Grab driver survives.
