25 Year Old Man Murders 51 Year Old Homeless Man Over Spitting Incident in Bangkok

The murderer was a known ice-head.

The gruesome aftermath of the attack.

When: December 1st, 2020

Where: Bang Bamru subdistrict, Bang Phlat district, Bangkok province

Perpetrators: Mr. Surasak, 25

Victims: Mr. Sanchai Cheysophon, 51

What: On the evening of December 1st, 2020, a homeless man, Mr. Cheysophon, spit on the ground. Mr. Surasak happend to walk by at the same time. He got it in his head that the homeless man spit in his face. This enraged Mr. Surasak. He jumped the homeless man and knocked him to the ground, then used his elbows and fists to pummel the back of his skull, smash his face into the pavement, and kick the deceased 4 times before fleeing the scene.

It is reported that Mr. Surasak had been prosecuted for consuming and possessing meth / ice.

My take: A misunderstanding, now one man’s dead, beaten horrifically and left for dead on the open sidewalk. It’s no dignified way to go. Just another murder in the Big Mango. One that we thought you should be informed about.
