Perpetrators: 24 people; of which 21 are men, 3 are women; 2 are under 18
What: On January 13th, 2021, at about 5PM police raided a residential home in the Lat Phrao district of Bangkok. They arrested 24 individuals, 21 of which were men, 3 women, and 2 were under the age of 18. They seized 24 computers, multiple cell phones, and other electronic devices. Another location is reported to host the server at a condo in the Serithai area.
The culprits operated a network of illegal online gambling websites. They persuaded people on Facebook, using fake accounts, to go to the online casino to gamble. They were paid a monthly salary of 10,000 baht per month with commissions and bonuses on top.
The operation is expected to have netted over 100 million baht.

My take: From the report, it’s clear that the bust was of a house where the low level employees were operating. Their job was to recruit customers. The server is in another location and the boss? Well, they weren’t mentioned.
